How can I make a ferry reservation?

To make a ferry reservation you can use our ferry search engine where you will be asked to fill in the following fields:

  • One Way or Round Trip Ticket
  • Port of origin
  • Port of destination
  • Date of departure / Date of return (In case of round trip ticket)
  • Number of adults traveling
  • Number of children traveling
  • Number of pets on board
  • If you are traveling with a vehicle: Selection of vehicle and its features
  • Large family discount

Our ferry comparator will show you a list of the best available fares and schedules for your ticket. Select the alternative that suits you best to see the different types of accommodation available at that time.

Once you have selected the best timetable and your preferred ferry accommodation click on the "Book" button where you can enter your details, passenger details and make the payment for your booking.

Once you finish the payment process we will send you a confirmation email with the VOUCHER of your reservation that includes the locator to make your trip.

Can I modify or cancel my reservation?

In the process of booking a ferry ticket you will see that we inform you about the conditions of modification or cancellation of your ticket. If you are registered with The Best Ferry you will be able to check the options available on your booking. If you are not registered and need more information or help to modify or cancel your booking please contact us.

What documentation is required to travel by ferry?

The mandatory documents that must be presented at the time of travel may vary depending on the nationality of the traveler, origin, destination or dates of travel.

As a general rule, it will be necessary to carry personal identification (ID card, passport, drivers license) always in original and in force.

In the case of booking a fare with special discounts, it will be necessary to carry the documentation that proves it (Youth Card, Resident, Retired...).

For children under 14 years of age, they must always travel accompanied by an adult with the corresponding family book (if traveling in national territory) or their own ID card on international trips.

*Remember that it is the travelers responsibility to be informed of all the necessary documents to travel to the destination.

What forms of payment are available for the reservation?

Prices are specified in FULL, including taxes and handling fees. In relation to the means of payment:

  • Credit / Debit Card:

    In the event that the USER chooses this method, he/she declares that he/she is the legitimate holder of the payment instrument and as such, can legally make the purchase, under his/her sole responsibility.

    In the event that the USER expressly requests the option of remembering his/her credit/debit card details in successive purchases made on our website, we inform him/her below about the terms and conditions of such process: To guarantee the confidentiality, privacy and security of the information you provide us with, we indicate that your credit card details will be stored securely with the financial institution with which we have contracted this service and THE BEST FERRY will only store the code returned by the financial institution associated with the card, the expiration date and the last 4 digits of the card. In successive purchases, the user will be able to choose the option of paying directly with one of his previously stored cards, in which case, once the user selects the card, the payment will be made automatically without having to re-enter the card data. In the event that you wish to delete the credit/debit card data stored by the financial institution, you may do so in the "My BEST FERRY" section of this Website.

    Payment will be made through the secure payment platform of the "Banco Sabadell" entity and payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard and 4B cards.
Do I have to include the driver in the total number of passengers?

Yes, the total number of passengers must include the driver of the vehicle.

How will I receive my tickets?

Once you have made and completed your booking on our ferry comparator, you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and the VOUCHER in PDF with the locator to be presented at the time of travel.
